George Eastman Museum Honors Kodak Legacy by Getting Digital Photography Wrong Again

Rochester, NY — The George Eastman Museum announced a new photography policy this week requiring reservations and a $400 hourly fee for professional photo shoots on its grounds.

“We felt it was important to honor Kodak’s historic commitment to thoughtfully responding to technological and market shifts after they’ve already become unavoidable,” one museum official told The Innerloop Blog.

The George Eastman Museum also confirmed that any decision involving digital photography requires laying off most of its staff. “As is tradition,” a spokesperson added.
