Darien Lake, NY – In an unprecedented turn of events, a tornado spawned by Hurricane Beryl found itself at a standstill in the infamous Darien Lake Amusement Park traffic. The powerful twister was reportedly seen struggling to get around cars in the parking lot and even honking the horn of a boat that was stuck in its funnel from a nearby town.
“We’re used to handling congestion around here, but a tornado stuck in traffic? That’s a first.” joked Officer Smith of the New York State Police. The officer was waiting in his normal speed trap area outside Darien Lake and had hoped to issue the tornado a speeding ticket.
Meteorologists had predicted severe weather due to Hurricane Beryl, but no one anticipated the storm itself would need to navigate the local traffic woes. The Innerloop Blog will continue to provide useless updates on this storm.
