Bills Fans Vow to Get Drunk at 1PM Anyway

Orchard Park, NY – With the Buffalo Bills – Pittsburgh Steelers playoff game being moved from Sunday at 1pm to Monday at 4:30pm, it could be expected that Bills Mafia would delay their antics until then. However, the fans who planned on attending the game at the original date and time plan on carrying on as normal.

Season ticket holder Dennis Greeley of Batavia stated that he plans on bringing some Labatt Blue Lights to the Highmark Stadium parking lot Sunday and getting drunk with other fans.  “It’s not a Bills game without getting day drunk away from your family,” he told us. “We need to keep drinking and smashing tables to keep tradition alive.”

While Bills Mafia is known for their over-the-top behavior at Bills games, such as jumping on tables and spraying condiments at each other, the NFL playoffs can bring out even more self-destructive activity.

“It’s a shame that the game isn’t going to take place during high winds,” one fan told us. “I wanted to see if I could pour a beer upside down and have it blow into my mouth.”

The postponement of the game has not deterred fans from getting drunk during the game itself, it seems. “Getting drunk two days in a row is the best way a Bills fan can spend their time,” said Melinda Johnston of Fredonia. “It really helps distract from everything else.”

  1. This is a bit sad. Why ruin a great game without being able to remember it? Not all Bills fans are drunks lol
