Orchard Park, NY – Bills coach Sean McDermott has been all over the news this week because of a speech he gave to the team in 2019 where he gave props to the 9/11 hijackers for their coordination and communication during the terrorist attack.
Al-Qaeda has now responded to the story and is trying to distance the organization from the Buffalo Bills.
In a statement from an Al-Qaeda spokesperson sent via VHS tape to The Innerloop blog, they have declared themselves to be diehard New York Jets fans and have sent a cease and desist to the Bills head coach to stop using their likeness to inspire his team.
“We, the members of Al-Qaeda, want to make it clear that we are avid fans of the New York Jets,” proclaimed their spokesperson. “The Jets truly embody the spirit of struggling and persevering against insurmountable odds,” the spokesperson declared. “Their ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory is commendable, and we find inspiration in their consistent lack of success.”
