Highmark Stadium Field Sprinkled With Blue Cheese Crumbles in Preparation for Bills Game

Orchard Park, NY – Staff have been working hard all day at Highmark Stadium to prepare the field for the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins game.

In anticipation for plenty of lake effect snow hitting the Buffalo area during the NFL matchup, the grounds crew has laid out plenty of blue cheese crumbles to add traction to the playing field.

“Think of it like the Western NY version of the rubber pellets they use on turf,” said Terry Smorgen, head groundsperson.
