FAIRPORT, NY – Believing himself to have found an undiscovered beer with locally sourced hops and barley, Fairport man Lachlan Bachman instead found himself drinking water from the Erie Canal.

“At first I was thinking wow this is crisp, it’s light, and it’s super refreshing. Then I noticed a couple stink bugs and a Genesee bottle cap floating in it and realized maybe this isn’t the newest NEIPA release from Triphammer.”

“Live and learn I guess. It wasn’t the best drink I’ve ever had but I still had to give it a solid 3.25 on UnTappd for the creativity of the ingredients. Cheers!”
